About Rangex
RangeX is a solution to EV driver range anxiety, the RangeX utilized our micro rotary engine which allows the gen-set to be a third smaller than an internal combustion engine. The RangeX automatically starts once the battery falls below a designated level, charging the battery on the move giving drivers dramatically increased mileage with an engine fuel tank that only requires refilling after 1000 miles.

A compact, lightweight and efficient system, our Wankel rotary genset is designed to be installed in any new EV, providing range and battery life extension.
With the SIMPLEX technology, it recognises when your vehicle battery is running low on charge. Thanks to the automated start-up system, it detects your low battery charge and allows for a short amount of range until you reach the next charging station.
To eliminate the amount of emissions our vehicles produce, it’s beneficial to know that SIMPLEX doesn’t just work on petrol. It also uses environmentally friendly fuels such as J-fuels, bio-fuels and natural gasses – that’s the perks of multi-fuel capacity.
With larger vehicles, batteries need changing approximately every 5 years. In those terms, it doesn’t sound too bad. But when the cost to replace the battery is nearly half of what you paid for your vehicle, this is where DUPLEX can help you.
As a battery’s main damage usually occurs when less than 20% charged, DUPLEX automatically starts up when the battery charge drops below the designated level of 25% – ensuring extended mileage, extended battery life and reduced battery damage.
